We orginially bought these boots a little over a year ago for our then 10 year old daughter. She had just developed an interest in riding and we didn't want to spend hundreds on name brand boots if we didn't know how long she would stick with it. Since then her interest has grown to a fiery passion! These boots have endured beautifully through all her lessons and shined up nicely for shows. Once we clean and polish them, they still look brand new!! The only reason we are buying a new pair is because she outgrew them. When we bought them they were a little too big and now they give her blisters lol. Even though now we know she will stick with riding because she is obsessed, she is still growing so there is no reason to invest in the pricey ariat boots when these have done so well and at about only 20% of the cost. Again we will buy a bit bigger so she has plenty of room to grow (a doube layer of thick socks and she's very comfortable in a size up) .... highly recommend these boots to any rider, new or experienced!

I had been using my trainers Ariat paddock boots before I bought these. The differences between quality was obvious when you put them on but they feel sturdy and will serve their purpose well. I consider myself to have wide feet and I fit in these fine. I normally am a 7.5 in boots but ordered the eight since I would rather a little more room than not enough. The eight is a bit large like I expected but is still comfortable enough. The heel is slightly weighted which is great to help you keep your heels down. Have held up well for the couple rides I have already put into them.

I can't believe it, but I just gave a five star review to a shoe that's not real leather....This shoe far exceeds my expectations. 1. The stitching is very strong. 2. The zipper is a good quality zipper. No problems with it. 3. The look and feel is nice- no one will know they're 35.00 paddock boots! 4. They are actually made for human feet! So many riding boots are EXTREMELY narrow. I don't know who fits their feet into them. Overall this is an amazing quality boot. I have given TuffRider a bad review for their awful Knit Breeches, but these get 5 stars. At this price, if my daughter gets 6 months out of them I will be thrilled because she is still growing. Just a note- these fit VERY true to size. Do NOT order up in size.

Lovely color. They fit true to size. I bought my daughter, who wears a womans 8, the 8.5 (85) for growing room as she is a teen. We love the stretchy vent material on the sides because it makes it easier to get her foot in. Also the leather is softer then her previous paddock boots so there will be less time needed to break them in.

I have owned these for just over a year now and they are my favorite riding boots. I have several other pair of higher quality name brand boots and I keep coming back to these to ride. The soles aren't super thick which I love because you can really feel where the stirrup irons are. They didn't require any break-in time and are ready to use right out of the box. I did not give them 5 stars because they are not the highest quality but for the price they cannot be beat. I usually ride 5-6 days per week so they are used frequently and used hard. The decorative strip across the toe is a weak point and started to come apart pretty quickly. I put a bead of shoe goo across this on each boot and smoothed it down with an ice cube to hold them together and it worked great. I will wear these until they completely fall apart and then will likely order another pair.

I purchased these for work as a back up pair to wear for Memorial Services when I need clean/polished boots; for teaching mounted classes when I need to be polished and pristine; and for the times when my regular pair of lace up boots have a malfunction ie. when a shoe lace snaps and I don't have time to deal with it. I was surprised at how durable these boots were considering that they were not nearly as costly as Ariat (the boots purchased for me at work) and from a brand that I'd never heard of. I'm glad I gave them a try. I LOVE this zip up boot because it's just sooo easy, convenient and fast to get in and out of them vs. laces. The one complaint that I have is that the front of the sole on one of the boots separated almost immediately. I wore the boots maybe three times and I noticed that the sole was already coming apart. I bought Shoe Goo and I am going to try to repair it. Otherwise these boots are true to size, decently durable, polish up nicely, the zippers work well and haven't broken, and they are very comfortable. I recommended them to other riders in my profession, as well as to their employers. We tend to go through equipment very quickly so it's important to find quality items that are affordable as well.

Bought these as a cheap replacement for my Ariat boots that were stolen. I haven't ridden in them yet, but I'm pretty impressed with them so far. They look really nice right out of the box, and seem like decent quality. They're pretty comfortable, although they have no arch support like some others do. I'm also used to full leather, so it will take a while to get used to the lighter feel of synthetic, but they still feel nice. I'm always worried about buying shoes online, as I can wear a size 8.5-9.5 depending on the maker, but I ordered my normal size (9) and was very happy. They fit pretty much perfectly. So far I would say these are a great boot for such a low price.
